An RME Multiface II is the first thing I'd think of if you want 8 high quality balanced line outs. And since you already have the interface... Other options would be anything having an ADAT output combined with an 8-ch AD converter such as the Aphex 141. I recently got an RME Babyface Pro. Works great in CC mode, and has ADAT out (as well as 2 balanced and 2 unbalanced line outs of its own). The problem with your old Multiface could be just some ageing components.
