Depends on how you define "good".

Most audio production packages ready-to-use? Mandrake, CCRMA, or
Gentoo

Pentium optimized? Mandrake or Gentoo

Performance kernels? Mandrake or Gentoo

Most stable? RedHat or SuSe (a guess)

Quick and easy to install new packages? Mandrake, CCRMA, or Debian

I use Mandarkelinux on my audio workstation. I use the multimedia
kernel from contribs, some packages from contribs, and some packages
from Thac. I'm also able to submit any changes, improvements, or
bugfixes myself into the next release, which is nice.
