with missing ice1712 arose in trying out the 4.4.0 and 4.4.1 kernels.
The ASUS Z-170K mobo I'm using supports two PCI cards:

works well with Linux, IMHO.

This doesn't appear to be a universal problem. It is present in
siduction 4.4.0. I will upgrade to 4.4.1 later and report.
