Hey there Dave! Well I had pretty much written off the 'DX' sound as a regrettable chapter in 80's musical history but these sounds stripped of drum machines, big hair and adenoidal existential musings actually have opened my ears up to their nice tonal, bell-like charm especially the the deep resonant 'ploonk' of the bass notes. Admittedly I'm not aware of your history with these particular pieces but they certainly seem a great showcase of Yoshimi when used with these FM influenced sounds. Thanks for the schoolin'! Always great to hear what you're up to :) Glen Dave Phillips wrote: > Greetings, > > Two old sequences freshly revived for the latest Yoshimi : > > https://soundcloud.com/davephillips69/prelude-and-promenade-for-yoshimi > > Versions coming for ZynAddSubFX and Hexter. > > MOR mainstream tonal music for modern elevators. > > Best, > > dp > > _______________________________________________ > Linux-audio-user mailing list > Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user > _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
