IMO it's important to read change logs or to use a search engine for
more information, if a security upgrade should be required. Perhaps a
security issue only could be fixed by an upgrade + generating new keys
and/or passwords. Beyond that an upgrade shouldn't happen, while DSP
load is critical and you e.g. are recording something important, let
alone that an upgrade always could cause an issue, so it's wise not to
update as long as you use the computer for audio work, that doesn't
allow an interruption. Users should learn to maintain a computer in the
same way they maintain their cars. They don't change oil while driving.
