Regarding that one: I recently tried to help a friend who was puzzled
that there was only one single entry in alsamixer, 'PCM', which
controls output volume. No controls for the headphone output or for the
inputs. 

The inputs & outputs itself seemed to work normally with alsa though.

Is it normal for this device that there is only a single mixer control?
