Loading soundfonts from a script (LS or FluidSynth)

Hey hey everyone,
I need to load a soundfont (SF2) from a script. I've tried with LinuxSampler and it worked, but I only got sound in the first channel (LinuxSampler:0).

In Fluidsynth I get stereo output, but I haven't found a way to select the desired patch from the soundfont through the commandline options. Using -f with stdin shuts Fluidsynth down immediately.

Any idea to solve either problem?
