So far, so good. I installed it on F19, built & installed the latest
SC3, and have been enjoying SuperCollider examples for the past hour.

Are your Q* applications and utilities Qt5-aware ?


absolutely

all of them with no exception are "qt5-ready" for years now

however, there's this mentioned "lv2-ui/(lib)suil clause" which applies to qtractor when built on qt5: most non-qt5 lv2 plugin guis won't work there, unless they implement the lv2-show/idle interface, as is the (probably single) case of the calf suite (last time i've checked :))

no worries. for the time being though: most distros go with (all my) qstuff on qt4. still the recommended runtime base.
