there is an issue with some cardbus bridges and the hdsp ... the kernel
developers are currently working on this, but right now it's not
completely sure, that the hdsp will work on that laptop ... 
there are 3 people having problems with their machines ... one of them
could solve the problem by tweaking some cardbus registers.
the hdsp is a pretty good audio device, but i strongly suggest that you
try to run the combination laptop/hdsp before buying ... just to be sure
...
