Hi,

I've used trplayer
http://www.linux-speakup.org/trplayer.html
with vsound
http://www.xenoclast.org/vsound/
and this works.

You can do something like this
vsound -t -f foo.wav trplayer http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/realplayer/dsatg2.ram &

to record BBC Radio 7 to foo.wav.
