I suggest you add a urpmi source for Thac's RPMs. As root, type:

urpmi.addmedia thacs.rpms http://rpm.nyvalls.se/9.2/RPMS with 
hdlist.cz

Then type:

urpmi kernel-multimedia
urpmi qjackctl

If it complains about missing packages, you probably need to add a 
'contrib' mirror to your sources:

http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/index.php

You should then be able to run Jack as a normal user by running 
qjackctl and checking the 'realtime' box in Setup.
