The difference in readership is really substantial: http://www.linuxdj.com/audio/lad/subscribe.php3 enough that it's pretty much a practical necessity to crosspost for major releases, even if in principle it may not be a good idea. Rather than just stopping, it would be better to find other ways to encourage people to subscribe to LAA first. (Hey, everyone -- subscribe to LAA now!) The other reasonable viewpoint is that you should subscribe to LAA only if you are _not_ subscribed to LAD or LAU but you still want to get the announcements. If that is a common viewpoint, that would certainly explain the difference in subscriber counts. Chris
