I lost my main workstation a couple of months ago and have been trying to get it back since. It is not an easy task or cheap and I haven't the space on this machine or the inclination to install apache and mysql. Unfortunately that is how it goes when people volunteer to help on a large project like the alsa website. If I was paid and had someone else to maintain my gear then there wouldn't be a problem. > I'm afraid it doesn't reflect very well on the LAU community that all > these docs are out of date. If you find stuff in the wiki that you think should be in the website you can submit it. But until I get a new video card and rescue all the info on my failed HDD it won't be incorporated into the site. Hopefully I haven't lost everything that people submitted to me before the crash. Currently the prognosis is grim though. On top of all that I also have to recode the backend as Jaroslav recently upgraded to php4. Plus I'm having more fun making music at the moment. It took me at least a year to get it to where it is now. I am not going to ditch that effort, just out of action for a while. -- Patrick Shirkey - Boost Hardware Ltd. We want normal music!", I think that was more like acting than anything I've ever done. Goldie, 8 Nov, 2002 The Scotsman
