At least it doesn't have the soft-core porn of every other magazine aimed at men these days... Women do sometimes feature in the magazine as performers, but rarely (if ever) as producers or engineers. I did suggest interviewing Wendy Carlos once (Switched on Bach, Clockwork Orange soundtrack), but it wasn't taken up. I don't know if she counts though, as she was born Walter Carlos and did her famous work while still living as a man. I would have liked to interview Delia Derbyshire (she did the original Doctor Who theme for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, using tape loops) but unfortunately she died a few years ago, largely forgotten. At least there has now been a BBC Radio 4 play about her life, written by Sonic Boom from Spacemen 3 I think. Cheers Daniel
