Jumping into the middle of a threas...here goes... For what it's worth, I am using a 1010LT. This works fine with alsa (RH 8.0, planet CCRMA). MIDI out works fine (at least to my Alesis drum machine). I have not tried the MIDI in, nor have I tried a MIDI keyboard. Two XLR inputs suit my home recording needs fine, but it shouldn't be a problem to hook up an external mixer to the RCA inputs, right? -Joe D On Fri, 2003-11-28 at 10:52, Greg Reddin wrote: > --- Erik Steffl <steffl@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > why not 1010LT? because of the external box (no computer noises > > in > > converters)? looks like there is a fairly big price difference > > ($400 vs. > > $800) between 1010LT and 1010 > > I've heard that some of the 1010LT's capabilities are not supported > by ALSA, but I haven't yet found one.
