well, no. Some guitars have built-in battery powered preamps.
Many (most?) do not. These sometimes have a lot of output signal
(maybe approaching line level) but the impedance is all wrong.
You generally do not want to plug an electric guitar into
any device that expects a low-impedance line-level signal;
the result is very dull and weak.

otoh, you should hear SOMETHING :-)
