Ah yes, you're right - I'd missed that one.  Also, I've noticed another
bit of strange behavior:

When playing audio via OSS emulation, activity is seen on all 10 PCM out
channels, except for the last.  With my patch added, the last PCM out
displays this behavior.  I assume this is a bug?

This will be easy enough.  I'll probably be able to get to it after my
