I think this could be of interest...

I've been recently contacted by a visitor of my site that asked me if
timidity can render into wav single channels/tracks of a midifile instead
of the whole midifile.

I know that timidity can't do this and then pointed him (his name is
Pasquale Fersini) to the MIDI::Perl module site. Then he contacted the
author (Sean M. Burke) and they write a simple utility for splitting
midifiles into separate midifiles based on tracks/channel information.

For those who are programmers this can be a simple thing, but for those
(like me) that are using Linux as users, I think it's a very handy utility.
