Yeah.  This part of an _ongoing_ flame war (which I don't wish to
continue here), mostly regarding binary-only policies and developer
support, etc.  Here's the latest installment (from today) by way of
example, a disccusion of ATI which bleeds periodically into NVIDIA
frustration/happiness:

In my own experience, Nvidia chips/drivers work great on Linux,
contrary to my experiences with both ATI and Matrox cards.
