tbh i havent put it to the test yet, mainly because i dont have 
sufficient mikes at home to set up the 4 in...

only do stereo i/o for 96000hz 24bit, 2i/1o or 1i/2o at 48000hz
24bit, 4i/4o at 48000hz 16bit in windows and mac environments.
YMMV in Linux :)"

sounds pretty positive to me.... especially as in windows 98 i only have 
the option of 2 in 4 out or 4 in 2 out....
