Seagate drive are particularly suitable for audio due to thier low
vibration bearings and quiet mode.

I've seen the sticking problem you mentioned on lots of old SCSI discs,
I've solved it before by power cycling them lots, i'l try the mallet trick
next time it happens, cheers!
