I just got done last week recording a 4 song demo for my cheesy rockabilly band using an ST Audio C-Port DSP 2000 and my little single Athlon XP 1700+ box. I used Ardour and recorded 5 tracks simultaneously (it's a 4 piece). Zero problems. The DSP 2000 uses the same chipset as the EWX 24/96. If you're having problems setting up the EWX 24/96 to run stably then it's probably your system and not the card. Jan PS - If you'd like to hear the demos they're at http://myweb.cableone.net/eviltwin69/fuzzy.html On Sat, 2003-02-15 at 13:16, Hartmut Noack wrote: > > > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ursprüngliche Nachricht <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< > > Am 15.02.03, 18:56:47, schrieb Rick Taylor <ricktaylor@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> zum > Thema Re: [linux-audio-user] Need help - hardware recommendations: > > > > On Sat, 2003-02-15 at 09:21, Hartmut Noack wrote: > > > > > > 1) try Soundblaster 1024 Live!
