It will display a remote windows box, and it will create a new display on the remote box, but not display the user's running desktop. I have been told that the beta version of RealVNC vncserver will do this, but it requires a recompile of XFree with some patch, so I'm not up for that when x0frbserver does a good job. Anyway, that's my experience.
