[linux-audio-user] vumeters when you're recording sound

If you install JACK then you could use meterbridge:
http://plugin.org.uk/meterbridge/ but you almost certainly dont want
actual VU meters, they are really only useful for analogue tape recodings
and broadcast.

I dont know which WAV editors support JACK.
