Make a file called timiditysf2.cfg with the line:
	soundfont 8mbgmsfx.sf2
then call 
	timidity -c timiditysf2.cfg Anything.mid

I can't see why it shouldn't be _exactly_ sounding as you isa card.
And timidity can act as a sound card with the server option ( -iA ) .
By the way, is your 8mbgmsfx.sf2 public domain ? I mean, ... err... is it freely redistribuable ?
