That commit makes it pretty explicit that we shouldn't call drm_dp_aux_register() until we actually have a "drm_dev" for the bridge. I'm applying several of the other patches in this series but I won't apply this one or anything based on it. I'll do some digging and send out a proposed fix shortly. -Doug
