[PATCH v8 1/2] dt-bindings: misc: fastrpc convert bindings to yaml

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Convert Qualcomm FastRPC bindings to yaml format, so that we could validate
dt-entries correctly and any future additions can go into yaml format.

Use compute-cb@ subnodes instead of just cb@. Add qcom,glink-channels and
qcom,smd-channels missing properties to make sure dtbs_check doesn't fail
right off the bat. Correct the name of the parent node in the example from
smd-edge to glink-edge.

Also change the file extension referenced in bindings
remoteproc/qcom,glink-edge.yaml from txt to yaml.

Changes since v7:
 * fixed file extension in glink-edge yaml, issue reported by Rob's bot,
and changed the commit message to reflect that too.
 * removed from commit message the mentioning of qcom,non-secure-domain,
   as suggested by Krzysztof.
 * added the qcom, vmids in the yaml, which was there in the original txt file.
 * mentioned in the commit message that the parent node name in the
example is changed from smd-edge to glink-edge, since this is a
change made compared to the original txt file
