About intel SATA driver under Kernel 2.6.18

Hello,lists, 

I have the problems when updating kernel to 2.6.18 from 2.6.9 under RH Linux 
AS4.
After reboot,it can't probe the intel sata driver.That sata chipset type is: 
intel 7230.
