Hi, I've found this problem on a suse 8.0 machine: if I try to ping a machine by its name the program stay locked (no messages, neither errors). If I ping with the IP address everything works. A problem of DNS? I thought this, but other users on the same machine can ping by a DNS name. I'm talking, of course, of non privileged users. Any idea?
