I tryed compile bind 9.2.23 on slackware 9.1, OpenSSL 0.9.7c, with parameters: CC="gcc" \ CFLAGS="-O3 -march=i686 -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer" \ ./configure \ --prefix=/usr \ --exec-prefix=/usr \ --sysconfdir=/etc \ --localstatedir=/var \ --libexecdir=/usr/libexec/named \ --with-openssl=/usr \ --with-libtool \ --disable-ipv6 \ --enable-threads and get the follow error: ########################### checking for OpenSSL library... using openssl from /usr/lib and /usr/include checking whether linking with OpenSSL works... no configure: error: Could not run test program using OpenSSL from /usr/lib and /usr/include. Please check the argument to --with-openssl and your shared library configuration (e.g., LD_LIBRARY_PATH). ########################### I have set LD_LIBRARY_PATH. LD_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib What may be problem ?
