Could you send us an acpidump and a dmesg of the machine that you tested this on? It would be helpful to see this information even if the boot succeeds without the hang

Erik, we have different types of machines and root os for boot
testing. Without the context information I can hardly find the
suitable environment for providing the info..

OK. However, we would be happy to look at the issue to determine if it is in the
ASL/AML code, hardware, or even the ACPICA core code.
