Automatically enabling keyboard wakeup on S2I

Recently an issue raised around S2I brought up a topic that I think is worth talking about.

The question was around keyboard wakeup from S2I.  Rafael had mentioned:
> You need to do
> # echo enabled > /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio0/power/wakeup
> (as root) for it to work.

I'm wondering, does it make sense to perhaps do that by default in the S2I scenario?  
That's actually what Windows does.  It allows wakeup from both keyboard and mouse 
when coming out of modern standby.
