Not strictly true once kexec is in place. Then it becomes a stub -> kernel -> kernel -> kernel -> ... interface, alnog with the rest of the properties the stub puts in the DTB. Having something like /chosen/linux,uefi-stub-generated-dtb sounds sane regardless.
