Lenovo T530 Brightness Control Issue

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I installed Ubuntu 12.10 with kernel version 3.5.0-18 on a Lenovo Thinkpad
T530 and everything seems to work well except the brightness control.
When using integrated graphics, it works fine, but if I switch to the
Nvidia
graphics, I only get the brightness notification like it's working, but the
brightness doesn't actually change. I filed a bug here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1083984

I tried various different config tweaks as noted on Launchpad, and I also
tried other newer kernel versions with no success. I was told to email this
list to see if there were any suggestions.

Thanks,
Matt W.
