Hi, just a quick update: the video.use_bios_initial_backlight=0
workaround has proven less stable than the acpi_backlight=vendor one,
especially after a suspend/resume cycle (the backlight sometimes
starts turned off, and I have to use the gnome brightness settings to
turn it on).
