Hi list,

I have an Intel D945GCLF2 Mini-ITX board that has an ACPI problem. The
kapcid thread uses 100% cpu constantly, and the following is output to
syslog:

[22603.682802] ACPI Exception: AE_AML_INFINITE_LOOP, while evaluating GPE
method [_L00] (20091214/evgpe-568)
[22606.333162] ACPI Error (psparse-0537): Method parse/execution failed
[\_SB_.PCI0.LPC_.SMBR] (Node ffff88003f1a98e0), AE_AML_INFINITE_LOOP
[22606.333212] ACPI Error (psparse-0537): Method parse/execution failed
[\_SB_.PCI0.LPC_.INIT] (Node ffff88003f1a98c0), AE_AML_INFINITE_LOOP
[22606.333250] ACPI Error (psparse-0537): Method parse/execution failed
[\_GPE._L00] (Node ffff88003f007580), AE_AML_INFINITE_LOOP

I have tried several different kernel versions and the problem remains the
same, I'm currently running 2.6.33. The box has the latest BIOS version
(0278). The outputs of lspci -vvnn and acpidump are attached.

Based on other similar problems I have seen mentioned, it seems likely that
this is simply a BIOS bug, but any help anyone can give is appreciated.

Please CC me on replies, I'm not subscribed to the list.
