Hi, on the Acer Aspire 4820 GT laptop the battery and temperature cannot be read. I tested with kernel versions 2.6.32 (Ubuntu) and vanilla kernel 2.6.34/35- rc3. The battery is found as BAT1 but always shows 0% charge state. Temperature is always read as 40°C. I suspect the acpi tables are at fault. I filed a bug with the acpi dumps and dsl files here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16218 Any help in how to figure this out would be much appreciated. Not knowing the remaining battery charge is really annoying. Regards Frederik
