ASUS M3A78-T ACPI Issues

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I'm trying to make ACPI works for a new ASUS M3A78-T mother board butI'm receiving some messages at the startup: "owernow-k8: Your BIOSdoes not provide ACPI _PSS objects in a way that Linux understands. Please report this to the Linux ACPI maintainers and complain to yourBIOS vendor.". So I'm reporting it.
I don't really know what information is needed to investigate that, sohere are the dmesg related to ACPI and my lspci information:

I tried to build a new kernel using the last 2.6.27 source code, butit does'nt help.Using lm-sensors and sensors-detect, I'm able to get the CPU temperature:phenom:~# sensorsk8temp-pci-00c3Adapter: PCI adapterCore0 Temp: +48.0ÃÂCCore1 Temp: +44.0ÃÂC
But I'm not able to get any information regarding the fans or the V.
Is there a way for me to extract what BIOS ACPI is sending to me inorder to include it in an email?
Also, how can I fix that?
Thanks,
