dmidecode for HP dv6000z

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I saw in my dmesg output recently, a request to send the
output of dmidecode to this address. Please find it
attached. This laptop is an HP dv6000z, with an AMD
Turion64 dual core processor (I believe you can tell this
from the dmesg output also). I've had this laptop for over
1 year now, and I still cannot get it to work reliably (it
often has difficulty booting without the noapic option, and
it often fails to set the hwclock. I also often get some
error message about IRQ7 triggering, "but nobody cared"). I
am hoping that whatever information dmidecode provides you
with will lead to a solution to my problem.

Attached are two files: the output of dmidecode and the
first 200 lines of dmesg.
