ACPI issues with HP Pavilion tx1000 series notebook PC

Hello!

Myself, and many others (according to google search results on this
laptop model), have troubles with ACPI and the HP laptop series
tx1000. (My exact model number is tx1250eo).

I am running Arch Linux with "uname -a" output:

When just booting without any special kernel options it complains
about apic. When passing the noapic option to the kernel at boot it
does boot - but just to complain about ACPI a moment later.

What happens is that it outputs something like this:

...and the "pausing" the booting process! But when I just hit my power
switch on the laptop - it resumes the boot process! (And ACPI seems to
be working fine after this - the system starts as it should).

A strange thing is that the above only happens when booting with the
power cable plugged in. When trying to boot without the power cable
(running on battery power) it "pauses" the booting process several
times at different occasions after hitting the power switch...almost
for every new line that appears on screen...not just one time... Very
strange indeed...

Well, the message said to email the output from dmidecode to this
email address, so that's what I'm doing below. Please let me know if
you are going to do something about this problem.
