cpufreq stages from 1GHz to 2GHz via 4 steps (1.33 and 1.67 intermediate) on my T7200, can't say for your E6300.One more thing is that, only two frequency levels ( 1.86 and 1.6 Ghz) are being used. This does not cause much power saving.. How many levels are actually available on core 2 duo?
I cant find any PSS in the DSDT dump.
