Issue solved by latest commit on 'master' branch
(https://github.com/jbruchon/elks/commit/935b8649286c640b2d329a81afb528a8b2cea756).
Please empty your cross/ folder, rebuild all cross tools with
'tools/build.sh', and then rebuild all ELKS with './build.sh'.
Sanity tested the FD1440.BIN image with './qemu.sh': no problem found.
For the boot on real HW with CF HD, please have a look to previous
messages on the mailing list, we have a WIP on that topic.
