Hello! How do you mean " SourceForge's installer adware hijacking"? Everytime I visit their sites for some examples of supposedly open source software there I do not see any of that. I freely admit their preposterous advertising scheme is so bad its beneath notice but it can't be as bad as you might think. They do also maintain a GIT repository service there, as well as the usual ones. ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drwho8@xxxxxxxxx "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." Though this policy does not directly affect ELKS, I refuse to leave the project on a host that believes it is ethical to hijack major open source software installer downloads with adware installers. I will update the existing ELKS website with this information when I have time to do so. > > The new repository can be accessed at https://github.com/jbruchon/elks and can be checked out via the same URL with a ".git" added to the end. There has been no work on ELKS since about 8 months ago, but I am still the active maintainer and I will continue to push patches and help in any way I am capable. > > If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or the list (but please don't do both at once since I subscribe to the list.) > > -Jody Bruchon > -- > To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-8086" in > the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-8086" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
