REMOVE elksfs? What does it do, and why keep it?

From what I have read, elksfs is essentially the minix fs with minor modifications of trivial use. The mkfs.c code doesn't seem to contain any elksfs references either, so we don't even have a tool to create it.

Should it remain, or be removed? What is its value? I'm inclined to remove it from the code base if it is of trivial value.
