Craig

The most outstanding problem is:

 Modem interrupt assignment and sharing:
 16:          0          0   IO-APIC-fasteoi   uhci_hcd:usb3
 --- Bootup diagnostics for card in PCI slot 04:00.0 ----
[    0.567384] pci 0000:04:00.0: reg 10 32bit mmio: [0xfe5ffc00-0xfe5fffff]
[    1.915516] serial 0000:04:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16
[    1.915521] serial 0000:04:00.0: PCI INT A disabled

Enablement of the PCI slot 04:00.0 is necessary before there can be responses.

There is resource competition from USB devices.
Detach them before bootup and again try
$ sudo wvdialconf

Also read the BootUp.txt

Please send to the List, not direct to me.
