Paul,
This is a Conexant HSF modem.
See for example
http://www.modem-help.co.uk/Conexant/RD00-D420-----Churchill-newHSFi-V-92-Soft-PCI-DF-Reference-Design.html
I strongly recommend to correctly install the HSF driver from Linuxant
which matches your Linux distribution and kernel.
Please come back to us if you face any problem.
Jacques
Note that the driver on the Linuxant site is FREE but LIMITED (14.4
kauds, no FAX). You can later purchase a license which will unlock the
limitations. I very strongly recommend to postpone purchasing the
license until you have checked that the free version works.
And no, unfortunately, there is no alternative to the Linuxant driver
for HSF modems.

Hi Antinio,
Sorry I am saying anything wrong about your comments. However if you are looking in the
section of "NAME="Audio device:" which says HCF.HSF then it may be wrong. As because I am
not concerned abouth the intel Audio device. I am looking for the driver for the
Connexant modem which scan moem says as HSF modem.belwow is the O/p of scanmodem for the
connexant that I attached in my previos/initial mail. I am again attaching the
scanmodem o/p if required for your review.
