Yusuf, What does $ sudo ls /dev/ttyUSB0 -l show or $ sudo ls /dev/ttyUSB* -l $ sudo lsusb $ sudo dmesg | grep 'usb' and depending on your modem (3G ) additional software might be needed? usbmodeswitch? See: http://polishlinux.org/linux/ubuntu/three-uk-3g-modem-in-ubuntu-linux/ http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/bb/viewtopic.php?t=248&sid=dc4dbc708333adf5caa0783b839f9e12 http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/ Install usbmodeswitch and see if that helps?
