Hi, I installed OpenSuse 11.2 with kernel 2.6.31.5. I have been trying to install two modems (Motorola SM56 and an Agere Modem), both PCI modems and sopported by slmodem-2.9.11-20090222. The kernel module slamr was compiled and installed correctly but with the two modems I had the same error (NO CARRIER) Previously, I installed OpenSuse 11.1 with kernel 2.6.27 and the Agere Modem was working very well.
