CDMA Modem

I have been using Ubuntu with Dell Inspiron mini since couple of weeks.
Everything I like. But I have been trying to fix CDMA usb modem to
browse internet but I could not. I did lots of trying but never success.

Here are the details
chitra@chitra:~$ wvdial

Sorry, no modem was detected!  Is it in use by another program?
Did you configure it properly with setserial?
