When compiling I see a message: I remember someone was testing slamr in karmic (which has a release candidate of kernel 2.6.31) had the same issue [1], but I wasn't able to find out if this problem is related to: * his specific modem (I had a similar issue yet with ALSA driver, and turned out that it is because the specific modem I had, and a patch to sl-modem solved it) * wether the new version of sl-modem had a regression * wether the problem is because of new kernel. Unfortunately the bug reporter paniced & seems to have given up. > make -C drivers KERNEL_DIR=/lib/modules/2.6.31/build > /bin/sh: line 0: [: 31/build: integer expression expected I don't get this message when I compile sl-modem under karmic (which has a release candidate of kernel 2.6.31).
